Today we handed over the prototypes of our Blood Alert device to Dr Lorenzo Boretti at the Livingstone Hospital for in-situ testing...the AEDG student team members developed the design from conceptualization to functional output in just over 5 weeks including in-house testing which is an outstanding effort; well done to all of them...

In the photo above at the handover of the two prototypes are from left: Jode Fourie, Dr Lorenzo BorettiWian Van Aswegen and Brian Jack...

Once the team has feedback from the Hospital staff, further updates will be made on the design to ensure that it can meet the rigours of its intended function...
